Jude Rawlins was lead singer, guitarist and songwriter in the bands Angelhead (1987-1991) and Subterraneans (1992-2017). In 2012 he formed the Lene Lovich Band with the legendary New Wave singer. He toured with the band as guitarist and manager until the end of 2019. Meanwhile, in early 2019, he had formed Your Ghost with Serbian pianist Marina Vesic and produced two albums, the eponymous Your Ghost and the sublime sequel Future Echoes. Jude has worked with an extensive list of brilliant people over the years, including Lene Lovich, Angie Bowie, Billy Mackenzie/The Associates, Kristin Hersh, Dot Allison, Viv Albertine, Maria McKee, Barbara Gogan, Lesley Woods, Kevin Hewick, Madonna, Bjork, and many others. He has worked at renowned studios from Abbey Road to Britannia Row (he owns the Cutec analogue delay unit used on the Pink Floyd album The Wall and also Joy Division's Closer as well as the Carlsbro spring reverb from Decca Studios used on recordings by the Stones and famously The Moody Blues.) Jude famously dislikes commercial recording studios, and prefers to build his own wherever needed. He designed and ran Berwick Street Studios in London's Soho district, and also Monochrome Studios in Whitechapel, which at the time was the largest acoustically perfected sound studio.
